OVERVIEW

This website is operated under the trading name WoodNStone Home. Throughout the website, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to WoodNStone Home.

These Terms of Service apply when you browse the website or purchase products from us. They should be read together with our Legal Notice, Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Delivery Policy and Cookie Policy, all of which are available through the website footer.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights available to consumers under Spanish or European Union law.

  1. ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS

WoodNStone Home designs and produces decorative wooden lampshades and other home accessories.

Our lampshades are precision laser cut from natural plywood and carefully hand finished. Natural variations in the wood grain and colour are expected. Occasional subtle laser marks or minor blemishes may also occur as part of the cutting and finishing process. Where consistent with the product description and photographs, these characteristics form part of the individuality of the product and are not normally considered faults.

We make reasonable efforts to display product colours, dimensions and details accurately. However, colours may appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and screen settings.

The pendant fitting, electrical components and light bulb are not included unless expressly stated in the product description.

  1. PRODUCT USE AND ASSEMBLY

Products must be assembled, installed and used in accordance with the supplied instructions and product information.

Our lampshades are intended for indoor use with compatible standard pendant light fittings. We recommend using an LED bulb to minimise heat.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that their existing light fitting is suitable for the product. Any electrical installation or alteration must be carried out safely and, where required, by a suitably qualified person.

We are not responsible for damage caused by incorrect assembly, unsuitable fittings, unauthorised modifications, improper use or failure to follow the supplied instructions. This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty or does not conform to the contract.

  1. ELIGIBILITY TO PURCHASE

You must be legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order through this website.

You agree to provide accurate and complete contact, billing and delivery information. We are not responsible for delays or failed deliveries caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer.

Products must not be purchased or used for unlawful purposes.

  1. PRICES AND TAXES

Prices are displayed in euros and include applicable IVA unless otherwise stated.

Delivery charges and any other applicable costs are displayed separately before an order is submitted. The total amount payable will be shown at checkout.

We may change product prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

If an obvious pricing error occurs, we will contact you before dispatch. You may confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

  1. PLACING AN ORDER

The website allows you to review the selected products, delivery information and total price before submitting an order. You can correct errors before completing payment.

After placing an order, you will receive an electronic confirmation at the email address provided. The sales contract is concluded when we confirm acceptance of the order.

Order confirmations and these Terms are provided electronically. Please retain a copy for your records. You may contact us if you require information about an order.

The language used for the contract is English unless another language is expressly offered.

  1. ORDER ACCEPTANCE AND CANCELLATION

We may decline or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason, including:

• The product is unavailable
• Payment has not been authorised
• Delivery is unavailable to the supplied address
• The order information appears materially incorrect or fraudulent
• An obvious pricing or website error has occurred
• The order would breach applicable law

If we cannot accept an order after payment has been taken, we will notify you and issue a full refund using the original payment method.

We will not cancel an accepted order arbitrarily.

  1. PAYMENT

Payment is processed through the secure payment methods offered at checkout.

The available payment methods may vary depending on location. WoodNStone Home does not directly store complete payment-card details.

The customer is responsible for ensuring that they are authorised to use the selected payment method.

  1. AVAILABILITY AND PRODUCTION

Products are subject to availability. Some products may be produced or finished after an order is placed.

Any production or dispatch estimate is provided in good faith. If an unexpected delay occurs, we will contact you as soon as reasonably possible.

Where a product becomes unavailable after an order has been accepted, you may choose an available alternative where appropriate or receive a full refund.

  1. DELIVERY

We currently deliver only to the locations available at checkout. Delivery costs and estimated times are shown before the order is submitted.

Unless a different period has been agreed, orders will be delivered without undue delay and no later than 30 calendar days after the contract is concluded.

Delivery estimates are not guaranteed where a delay results from circumstances outside our reasonable control. If a significant delay occurs, we will inform you and explain the available options.

WoodNStone Home remains responsible for the product while it is being transported by a delivery provider selected by us. Responsibility passes to the customer, or a person nominated by the customer, when the order is received.

Please inspect the parcel after delivery and contact us as soon as reasonably possible if it appears damaged, incomplete or incorrect.

  1. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS

Consumers generally have the right to withdraw from an online purchase without providing a reason within 14 calendar days of receiving the order.

Instructions for exercising this right, return postage, refund times and the model withdrawal form are provided in our Refund Policy and Withdrawal Form.

The customer normally pays the direct cost of returning a product following a change of mind, provided they were informed of this before purchase.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to the customer’s specifications or clearly personalised, except where the product is faulty, damaged or does not match the order.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

  1. REFUNDS

Where the right of withdrawal applies, refunds will be processed in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.

For withdrawal from an entire order, the refund includes the price paid and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery option originally offered. Additional charges for an upgraded delivery service are not refundable.

We may withhold the refund until the returned products have been received or evidence of return has been supplied, whichever occurs first.

  1. FAULTY OR NON-CONFORMING PRODUCTS

Products sold to consumers are covered by the applicable legal guarantee. In Spain, new consumer goods are subject to a three-year legal conformity period from delivery.

If a product is faulty, damaged, incorrect or does not match its description, please contact us at [Contact Email] with the order number and relevant details. Photographs may be requested where reasonably helpful in assessing the issue.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the available remedy may include repair, replacement, a proportionate price reduction or refund.

WoodNStone Home will cover reasonable return costs for faulty, damaged or incorrect products.

The legal guarantee does not cover damage caused by accidents, misuse, incorrect assembly, unsuitable electrical fittings, unauthorised alterations or normal wear and tear.

  1. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The website and its content, including branding, photographs, product designs, text, graphics and layout, are owned by or licensed to WoodNStone Home and are protected by applicable intellectual and industrial property laws.

You may use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes. Content may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, sold or used commercially without prior written permission.

  1. WEBSITE AVAILABILITY

We aim to keep the website accurate, secure and available. However, access may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance, updates, technical problems or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may update, suspend or discontinue website features where reasonably necessary. This will not affect rights arising from orders already accepted.

  1. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

The website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers and delivery providers.

Third-party websites operate under their own terms and privacy policies. WoodNStone Home is not responsible for unrelated content or services provided directly by third parties.

This does not exclude our responsibility for service providers used by us to fulfil our contractual obligations to customers.

You must not:

• Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website or another user’s information
• Upload viruses, malicious code or harmful material
• Interfere with the security or operation of the website

WoodNStone Home is responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to exercise reasonable care.

We are not responsible for losses caused solely by circumstances outside our reasonable control, incorrect information supplied by the customer or use of a product contrary to its instructions.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, defective products, deliberate misconduct or any liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Nothing in these Terms limits the statutory rights of consumers.

By placing an order, you acknowledge that information necessary to process payment, fulfil the order and arrange delivery will be shared with the relevant service providers.

These Terms and contracts formed through this website are governed by Spanish law.

If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this does not deprive you of any mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of residence.

Any dispute will be dealt with by the courts having jurisdiction under applicable consumer law. Nothing in these Terms requires a consumer to bring proceedings exclusively in a court that would not otherwise have legal jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the website, our products or applicable law.

The Terms in effect when an order is accepted will continue to apply to that order. Changes will not operate retrospectively against customers.
